In 2022, we graduated from banana bread to many other bakes. Here are the most searched-for bake offs from the last year!

Best Vanilla Cake: Finding my favorite vanilla cake has honestly been an investment in my long-term happiness as I find more and more that I am less of a "chocolate person" and more of a "things mixed into vanilla" person. It can be yours too!
Pineapple Upside Down Cake: This was the bake off where I discovered brown butter caramelized pineapple and my life has never been the same.
Red Relvet Cake: This bake off helped us find the undisputed queen of red velvet cake (as co-backed by The Kitchn and many people in my DMs).
